The museum is housed in a period building in the historic center of Pula and is dedicated to the findings in the ancient city of Nora and the surrounding area.
The exhibition allows visitors to delve into themes related to the colonization of the territory and the founding of the city, the oldest in Sardinia, of which it offers a glimpse of life over the centuries, both through artifacts related to everyday life and those that refer to the sphere of the sacred, rituals, and the cult of the dead. A special exhibit, using nineteenth-century photographic documentation of the discovery and excavation stages, displays Punic tophet stelae from the 5th-3rd centuries B.C.E.An interesting section is devoted to underwater recoveries: amphorae, anchors, Punic and Roman ceramics.
